About Nightshift Studios
In 1980 Arnie set up Nightshift Studios to record demos for friends and fellow musicians. Among them, notable acts like The Exponents, The Feelers, Netherworld Dancing Toys and The Bats. Plus, a multitude of other locally well-known groups.
Recent artists to record at Nightshift Studios include Philip Doublet, Eddie Low, Andy Thompson, Roy Montgomery, Jon Hooker & Billy Vallance, NIUSEILAH, Little Walk, R Frequency, Alice Sollis, Bronwyn Halley, Sharon Miller and many others.
Arnie has appeared as a session musician on hundreds of albums. In 1998 Arnie released his own first album “Only” – if you happen by, please ask for a copy or download tracks at bandcamp.com (links page). Album no. 2 is in progress… watch this space.
Having been a musician most his life, and a recording engineer, Arnie brings over 45 years of experience in audio production, composition, and arrangements to your recording project — as well as a versatile personality making him easy to work with.
Our location provides a rural backdrop with pleasant surroundings. Along with a quiet, single access street, with ample parking both on and off the property, allowing easy access for the loading and unloading of band equipment.
Local amenities are close at hand, if required.
